Jesus has commissioned all Christians to feed, to cloth, to care for
the widows, the orphans, the thirsty, the hungry and those who are
in prison. Our missions outreach should be local, national and
international in scope.
CommUNITY Church is honored to partner with the Food Pantry in
feeding families in need in the Roanoke and Salem area of
Southwestern Virginia. We have been blessed with faithful
givers who bring their excess to contribute to the inventory of the
Food Pantry. Over the months we have been able to contribute
hundreds of pounds of canned and boxed goods.
We collect canned goods and boxed goods on the first
Sunday of each month and are excited to be the second largest
contributor to the Salem food pantry each month.
